Oil Cooler Bypass Valve

Designed by C&R to adjust oil temperature when using the C&R Oil to Water Heat Exchanger. While an oil cooler duct is taped off to adjust temperatures when using an air to oil cooler; this is not possible with an oil to water heat exchanger. The C&R designed bypass valve adjusts the oil temperature in the oil to water heat exchanger as well as any other type of oil cooler. The bypass valve diverts oil around the oil cooler without increasing backpressure. The CNC precision machined C&R Bypass valve has no restrictions allowing 5%, 10%, and even 100% bypass capabilities. The bypass valve comes standard with –12 AN male fittings and is all-aluminum.

REMOTE OIL FILTER MOUNT

Ideal for racing or hot-rods, C&R Racing produce both standard and lightweight remote oil filter mounts to allow ease of access. Because there are 2 oil seal sizes in most common racing filter applications, we offer both large and small diameter mounts. There are also 4 common filter threads for filters. Please specify which oil filter you use for proper housing and thread adapter. (see chart below of common filters). An optional mounting bracket is available should you require.

These mounts also have a port for valve oiling and/or temperature probe.
NOTE: We do not offer block adapters to plumb to our filter mounts.
