Designed by C&R to adjust oil temperature when using the C&R Oil to Water Heat Exchanger. While an oil cooler duct is taped off to adjust temperatures when using an air to oil cooler; this is not possible with an oil to water heat exchanger. The C&R designed bypass valve adjusts the oil temperature in the oil to water heat exchanger as well as any other type of oil cooler. The bypass valve diverts oil around the oil cooler without increasing backpressure. The CNC precision machined C&R Bypass valve has no restrictions allowing 5%, 10%, and even 100% bypass capabilities. The bypass valve comes standard with –12 AN male fittings and is all-aluminum.

The C&R Filter Mount is designed with the oil cooler bypass valve built-in. The CNC precision machined mount is all-aluminum, lightweight and comes in AN fittings. The design results in cleaner plumbing in the engine compartment.

REMOTE OIL FILTER MOUNT

Answering to the needs of NASCAR teams for a lighter weight remote oil filter mount, C&R went back to the drawing board and came away with another success. Not only is our billet mount much lighter than other mounts on the market, we are able to reduce the cost of our earlier generation mount. A threaded 4-bolt pattern in the top of the body allows teams options in mounting, while the flexibility of three -12 ports for oil line plumbing and an addition of the -4 port for the option of temperature sensor installation or valve spring oiling hose. These three ports also allow simple plumbing into the system of the C&R Oil Cooler Bypass Valve Assembly (CR-UC-AQB001B) to regulate desired oil temperature. Specify filter for proper adapter application. Hose adapters sold separately.
