C&R Racing

C&R check valves are designed to work with the C&R Water Circulator and Drag Chillers as well as Portable Engine Heaters and Combo Heaters.  Check valves are used to insure directional water flow through the entire cooling system.  They are designed to fit the current radiator plumbing and are available in AN and push-on hose sizes.  C&R suggests the Jiffy-Tite Quick Disconnect fittings.

Universal Check Valve 

C&R Racing offers many different check valve versions.  Our Universal Check Valve is designed with the ability to change endcaps and port fittings depending on your specific need.

NOTE:
The checkvalve is designed for optimum performance with the “flapper” in this vertical position. The valve may be rotated (within reason) to accommodate a better entry/exit configuration. It is NOT recommended to install the checkvalve upside-down.

Hood Flap Option
This checkvalve allows for remote accessability. This is designed with an effort to provide access to the cool-down hook up without opening the hood — entry trhough the cowl flap. This could save valuable seconds at Richmond, Bristol, etc. In an overheating situation during the race, especially when the hood may be damaged. This also moves the hoses out of the way during practice, qualifying changeover, and scaling procedures.  C&R offers a weld-on plate, along with bulkhead fittings to accommodate Jiffy-Tite Fittings or 1/2′ NPT thread.
