C&R Racing, Inc. – New Product Release

Mooresville, NC - Introducing the CR1V2&V3 transmission upgrades for our CR1 with newly designed internal three rail shifter and top cover as well as upgraded internals. Teams in NASCAR’s premier series have extensively tested the design.

Updated Product Features

• The CR1V2&V3 allow for center shifter mounting required by the NASCAR car of tomorrow.
• Internal Three Rail Top Cover design allows for cleaner and more precise shifting.
• The design allows current CR1 customers to up-fit to the CR1V2, which retains the CR1 gear package and adds the new three-rail shifter, shown above. The CR1V3 includes the new gear design and new top cover / shifter without the need to purchase a complete new gearbox.
• The updated CR1V3 gear design is more efficient, stronger and include replaceable dog plates eliminating the need to purchase a new gear set when dog wear occurs.
• The CR1 is the logical platform for any NASCAR team because it allows for upgrading to the ultimate NASCAR gearbox, the CR2 (information on this transmission package is available separately).

• Center Support - Stabilizes the input and counter shafts keeping them from flexing and moving out of alignment, allowing gears to mesh at optimal levels.
• Safer – Center shifter mount reduces the risk of injury in a collision by allowing the driver to be moved toward the center of the car.
• Cleaner – O-rings located on the shift cover, midplate, bellhousing, and front bearing retainer eliminate the need for sealer. O-rings are not only better protection against potential leaks they allow for quicker and easier adjustments and cleanup.
• The center shaft support reduces the wear on gears thereby extending the life of the transmission.
