C&R Racing, Inc. Purchases Assets of Performance Drivetrain, Inc. (PDI) - now known as C&R South.

Indianapolis, IN - C&R Racing, Inc. announces the purchase of PDI assets.   Charlotte based PDI is a leading manufacturer of drivetrain components and racing parts.   Tom Buzze has confirmed the sale agreement.   Indianapolis based, C&R Racing, Inc. purchased the assets and will open a south division immediately.  

"We've wanted to open a Charlotte location for quite some time," states Chris Paulsen, President of C&R Racing, Inc. "When this opportunity came available it was a fit with the quality of the C&R brand and our business, we are excited to open a C&R south division."  

C&R South will continue to utilize Industrial Machine and Gear as the exclusive manufacturer of the drivetrain components and the BB-I.   The BB-I is the newly designed, NASCAR Ò approved, transmission.   The same quality and reliability associated with the PDI name will continue with C&R South.   Tom Buzze will continue as the General Manager and all current PDI employees will remain on staff.   C&R South will distribute transmissions, Dynotech driveshafts, and Visteon 9" Racing Gear Sets, and begin distribution of current C&R products excluding custom-built radiators.

C&R's Indianapolis location will continue to build all cooling system components including custom-built radiators, provide machine and fabrication services, and distribute performance products.   The addition of C&R South will enhance C&R's current product line.
