The NASCAR® Nextel Cup radiator is custom-built with a purpose built Visteon racing core. C&R’s NASCAR Nextel Cup radiator properly matches a radiator’s airside pressure drop to the speed of the race track by tailoring the fin density and core thickness. This optimizes downforce and drag reduction to the specific track making these radiators a valuable aerodynamic devise. The all-aluminum feature reduces weight with increased durability. The core is furnace brazed (no epoxy) resulting in better heat dissipation. They are heliarc welded with CNC precision machined billet aluminum necks and fittings. The radiators are custom-built to the height, width, fitting layout, and mounts specified by the NASCAR® Nextel Cup team. All radiators are double pass with choice of custom inlets and outlets. They are available in open or closed system and feature an optional internal heat exchanger; eliminating additional ductwork and oil cooler mounts resulting in cleaner space in the engine compartment. SPAL fans and custom C&R brackets or shrouds are available with each NASCAR® Nextel Cup radiator. Standard radiators are also available.
