Season Recap Heading Toward The Home Stretch

After 6 races of the scheduled 9 pavement races of the 2007 USAC Silver Crown Series. C&R Racing’s Silver Crown Chassis is continuing to be the chassis to beat. Starting at Homestead Miami Speedway in March. A C&R chassis wasn’t on pole. However things got better in the race where 1st and 3rd were C&R drivers, 1st AJ Foyt’s Tracy Hines, 2nd Pierce Racing, Aaron Pierce 3rd RE Tech’s Rookie Cameron Dodson.

Iowa a new track on the schedule showed more dominance of the C&R chassis. On pole was Bobby East subbing for the injured Tracy Hines. Top 5 qualifiers were all C&R chassis, 1st Bobby East, 2nd Aaron Pierce, 3rd Cameron Dodson

At Darlington JJ Yeley had the pole for AJ Foyt Racing and was going away from the field before encountering a delaminated tire ending his chances. Aaron Pierce got the win followed by Wayne Reutiman and AJ Foyt’s Pablo Donoso.

Richmond had AJ Foyt driver Pablo Donoso on pole. In fact the first 9 qualifiers were all in C&R chassis. In the race it was an all C&R affair with Brian Tyler driving for Team 6R taking the win followed by RW Motorsports Jerry Coons Jr., AJ Foyts Bobby East third.

Chicago had JJ Yeley extracting some revenge for his disappoint at Darlington by securing the pole in the AJ Foyts  #14.  In the race Yeley led Ken Pierce Racings C&R chassis driven be Tim Barber followed by Wayne Reutiman.

At O’Reilly Raceway Park Jason Leffler won the pole for PDM Racing. In the race it was all AJ Foyt Racings Bobby East leading all 100 laps followed by his teammate Pablo Donoso and Tim Barber For Ken Pierson Racing.
