Here is a little update about the car. The radiator (80113000751F) is working great and keeping everything cool.
Muscle Mustangs just printed a press release we sent them, and I have included a copy if you have not already seen it. Page 32 September 2010.
The car is getting a lot of attention everywhere we go, and is running great.
Brian’s driving and the car is progressing very well.
Brian won his first pole at Beaverun last month (out qualifying a 2 time National Champion) and had (2) 2nd place finishes.
At Mid Ohio in July, Brian again qualified on the pole, led the race flag to flag for his first win, and set a new course lap record in the process.
The new 5.0 engine has over 1300 race miles, and has performed flawlessly. The power and efficiency of this engine is amazing, as we are getting over 6 miles to the gallon (pump gas) under race conditions.
We are hoping to be able to make it out to Utah in September, for the National Championships, as the car and driver appear that they will be competitive.
