As of 2006 our BB1 transmission will now be referred to as a CR1 transmission. Part numbers for your ordering purposes have not changed.

C&R part number CRS-BB1-009-001 GM Front Bearing Retainer is now being replaced. The new part is .138 lbs. lighter and is black hard anodized.
New purchased CR1 (BB1) transmissions will be supplied with this updated part. Lease transmissions will not be fitted with new part until current inventory is mileage out.

C&R part number CRS-BB1-004-001 Top Cover is now being replaced. The new part is .233 lbs. lighter and is black anodized. Part has been in service in our lease fleet with no problems. New purchased CR1 (BB1) transmissions will be supplied with this updated part.
