Please be advised that the radius at the base of the shaft on CR1 (BB1) shift cams (PN’s BB1.004.003 and BB1.004.004) has been increased from .015” to .030”. This will require you to chamfer the top cover bushing .020”x 45 deg. to avoid the radius interfering with the bushing.

All shift cams in C&R inventory are now of this spec. Any customers with current back orders of shift cams will need to chamfer their top-covers.

 I would suggest chamfering all your existing top-covers as they are serviced to avoid new radius cams being installed in non-chamfered top-covers.
