RE: Part # CR-NC-AP001B    Pressure Relief Valve

We have been informed of a problem with the new C&R PRV.  After running some tests we have simulated the problem which is a tendency for the valve to stick closed after it has sat without activation for a period of time.  The problem has been identified as the diameter under the piston NC-AP0003A O-ring which is slightly larger than the prototype.  We now have a batch of new pistons available to cure this problem and highly recommend these new parts be fitted as soon as possible.  The new piston has an identification groove cut in the angled surface of the valve as shown below.

New pistons will be exchanged free of charge
