Penske Prevails At All Stars Race At Charlotte NASCAR Sprint

PENSKE PREVAILS AT ALL STARS RACE AT CHARLOTTE NASCAR SPRINT
PWR Performance Products cooled Team Penske drivers finished 1-2 at the All Stars race at Charlotte in the NASCAR Sprint series with Joey Logano going to Victory Lane. Brad Keselowski led a race high 39 laps but finish short in second place with Dale Earnhardt Jnr. taking third place.
The format of the non points race was 2 x 50 laps followed by a final 13 lap shootout for the USD1M prize. All cars in the race used PWR Performance Products.

SLADE SLAYS AT WINTON V8 SUPERCARS
Two races was held at Winton Raceway in the V8 Supercar series with Tim Slade winning both races driving the PWR Performance Products cooled Holden Commodore for Brad Jones Racing.
Race 1 - Maiden win by Tim Slade who qualified on pole position followed by Scott McLaughlin in a Volvo and Mark Winterbottom driving a Ford Falcon.
Race 2 - Slade bags a double. Winterbottom secured second place with Fabian Coulthard finishing third driving a Ford Falcon for DJR Team Penske.
All cars in the race used PWR Performance Products.

COUGHLIN SCORES HAT-TRICK WITH WIN AT BAER FIELD 
When someone scores three goals in a hockey game, fans litter the ice with their hats.  It’s known as the “hat-trick.”  While nobody threw their hats onto the racing surface at Indiana’s Baer Field Motorsports Park on Saturday, Cody Coughlin scored himself a hat-trick with his third consecutive ARCA/CRA Super Series victory in a row.  It’s a feat that is rare in racing. - See more at: http://www.teamjegs.com/content/coughlin-scores-hat-trick-win-baer-field...

BMW BRILLIANT AT RED BULL RING DTM
Two races was held at The Red Bull Ring in the DTM series with BMW winning both races.
Race 1 - Marco Wittman (BMW), Tom Blomqvist (BMW), Edoardo Mortara (Audi).
Race 2 - Timo Glock (BMW), Mattias Ekstrom (Audi), Jamie Green (Audi). All cars in the series use PWR Performance Products.
MEEKE MASTERS PORTUGAL WRC
Kris Meeke has won the Portugal World Rally Championship (WRC) driving the PWR Performance Products cooled Citroen C3 WRC.
Meeke became the fourth different winner in five WRC rounds this season.
The winning margin was 29.7 seconds to Andreas Mikkelsen driving a Volkswagen Polo R WRC with Sebastien Ogier coming in third place also in a Volkswagen Polo R WRC.

SHEPPARD DEFENDS HOME TURF
Brandon Sheppard became the second home-state driver in two nights to visit Lucas Oil Victory Lane with his victory at LaSalle Speedway on Saturday Night. The 23-year-old Illinois native led all 60 laps of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series-sanctioned, Spring Shootout.

Sanders Lands Two Podium Finishes in USMTS Action
Rodney Sanders was back in the driver’s seat of his Open Wheel Modified on Friday night at Outlaw Motor Speedway (Oktaha, Oklahoma) for the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) sanctioned MSD Central Region event. Drawing a stout field of forty-nine cars, Sanders started the night off with a heat race win from the 2nd place starting position. Earning a 4th row high-side starting spot for the feature, Rodney advanced five spots posting a 3rd place finish behind Terry Phillips and Ryan Gustin with Jesse Sobbing and Dereck Ramirez completing the top five finishers.
