Professional Formula D Series Drifter, and all around thrill-chaser.
JTP teamed up with C&R to develop a custom rear radiator set-up for his 2018 Falken Tires Ford Mustang drift car.
Controlled chaos has been JTP’s addiction since high school, when he built his first competitive car. JTP continues to be a hands-on driver who does his own mechanical, fabrication and suspension design (which is just part of why C&R loves collaborating with him on projects). Sure, JTP has notable success in the drift car arena, but he also navigates his way through rock crawling and hot rods, making him well aware of what it takes to keep his vehicles running at top performance in a variety of conditions.
This as a 1967 Firebird body that sits on a Roadstershop Fast Track chassis with cantilever independent rear suspension. Its powered by a Lingenfelter built GM LSA with a Kenne Bell supercharger that produces 901HP and 867 Ft/LBS of torque. The power is transmitted through an EMCO DV46 sequential 6-speed gearbox and has manual shift without lift for wide open shifting. Power gets to the ground through Forgeline DE3C wheels and Toyo R888 tires. The car is brought to a rapid halt by Baer 6 piston Extreme+ brakes front and rear with r-spec rotors.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Ray Evernham
Dale Earnhardt Jr. enlists Ray Evernham to help restore an El Camino, with a Laguna front end. It was not a typical restoration and was certainly a NASCAR performance-worthy project, equiped with C&R cooling components. Ray and the team built the car and then, in a bit of gamesmanship, challenged Kyle Tucker, owner of Detroit Speed, to a series of races against his award-winning Camaro. As always, Ray had an ace up his sleeve in Al Unser Jr. as his driver.

Expedition SEMA/1970 Toyota FJ40
Aaron Brown’s aftermarket upgrades included C&R’s advanced cooling componentry. This Expedition SEMA traveled 25 days and 3,000 miles to the SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
Gas Monkey and Kurt Busch Inc.
This high-performance specialty build is fitted with a Ford Performance 5.0 Coyote Aluminator crate engine and a Cobra Jet intake manifold, with custom C&R extruded tube technology and SPAL fans. Thanks to Gas Monkey Garage and Kurt Busch Inc. for including C&R in this project.
Looks may be deceiving and that is definitely true with this car. This modified retro racer may look like a showpiece, but it is far from it. The concept for this car was born out of Ray Evernham’s passion for vintage race cars, respect for innovation and concern for safety.
Final build included C&R cooling components and was showcased at the 2017 SEMA Show.
72 Lotus Elan Plus 2
Every good road-trip story starts with a problem and then turns on how the characters in the story solve it. This is a story about an old car, a long trip far from home, and how C&R helped get Ross Robbins on his way to his 1,000-mile rally through the Great Smoky Mountains.
As a seasoned enthusiast of participating in cross county driving tours, Robbins ventured from his home base in Colorado via the long route through northern Minnesota to arrive at the trip’s starting point of Greenville SC, adding 2,000 miles to his journey. During his trip through Wisconsin in his 1972 Lotus Elan Plus 2, Robbins developed a leak in his radiator that worsened until the unit was leaking badly from both side tanks. Ross needed a solution fast, since he was on a tight timeframe to meet up with his wife and continue on to his iconic Great Smokey Mountain Tour scheduled to depart just days later. After failed attempts at finding a nearby radiator shop that could correct the problem, Robbins received a suggestion through his network of automotive contacts to call C&R. Robbins contacted C&R in short order regarding his dire situation, knowing he only had a few days to resolve his issue in order to make his arrival for the Smokey Mountain tour on time. Luckily, C&R had a solution and jumped into action. After collaborating with a local resource to swap components, C&R team was able to provide Robbins with a custom replacement radiator using our flexible manufacturing capabilities. Within 72 hours Robbins was back on the road, reporting that the finished product was not only perfectly sized it was almost a work of art.
We admire road warriors and are proud to be relied on when your tough solutions need support. Thanks to our friends at The Car Vault for jumping in to help with this installation; and thank you Ross Robbins for allowing C&R to show you what we’re made of. Enjoy the Smokey Mountains!

1968 GMC C10 / 48 hour C10
RideTech will build out an existing 1968 GMC C-10 truck over the duration of the auction and transform it into a complete, upgraded version to send over the auction block for sale on the final day of the auction. The RideTech 48-Hour Build will be part of the new Barrett-Jackson Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Pavilion, where select automotive companies will present hands-on demonstrations and exhibitions on a variety of projects being conducted in real time.
The base truck is a restored vehicle that will be upgraded with Forgeline wheels, BFG tires, Baer Brakes, Fitech EFI, No Limit Engineering fuel tank, Currie crate rear end, Vintage Air air conditioning, Classic Instruments gauges, a Kicker stereo, C&R radiator, American Autowire wiring – and, of course, a new RideTech StreetGrip suspension. The completed Pro-Touring-style truck will then be auctioned to the highest bidder on Sunday, January 22, at the 2017 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction.
“After demonstrating the concept of building a fun and reliable hot rod in 48 hours since 2011, we wanted to expose this success to an even larger audience,” commented RideTech President Bret Voelkel. “We thought there was no better place to do it than at the largest automotive lifestyle event in the world, Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale!”

1964 Plymouth Valiant – VIOLENT
VIOLENT is a way for us to showcase our partners products and our capabilities in a package that you won’t see at your typical cruise night, and certainly not at your local track night. We debuted the car in the Stewart Warner booth at SEMA in 2014 and have had it on display at SEMA in Optima Alley in 2015 and 2016. Look for it on MavTV’s Optima Search for the Ultimate Street Car Series and PowerNation TV.

Mike and Janie brought this car to us for a complete rebuild. This was a full drag race car for many years that Mike drag raced and was also raced by Kenny Bernstein back in the day. We will be returning the car to full street manners with our DSE universal front clip and rear suspension so they can enjoy cruising the car to many events.
Mike and Janie Braswell enjoy cars of many types. They are drag racers, hot rodders, and true car enthusiasts through and through.

1964 Pontiac GTO-R – Raybestos GTO-R
America’s favorite muscle car, the Raybestos Brakes GRO-R Give-a-Way Ca will be built for one thing…putting the power to the pavement on the open road and the race track. Design with Raybestos’ Racing Heritage and an HRCC Chassis design, there is no mistake that this Goat means business. And as the number on the door indicates, this ride goes to 11! We had IHRA Top Fuel Champion, Clay Millican, make a few passes at the drag strip. And World Champion, Robb Holland, throwing it around the Opitma Challenge in Nevada after it was on display at the SEMA SHOW.

1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supercharged 6.2 LSA Engine Swap
This very nice 1968 Oldsmobile 442 is wearing a crisp restoration and features some modified parts intended to give this car better handling and drivability. It’s not a numbers-matching W30 car, although it looks like one. It’s got 17” American Racing wheels, Wilwood brakes with a Hydratech hydraulic brake assist unit, Hotchkis control arms and sway bars, and a few other goodies. It’s powered by a big block Olds engine, but the owner wanted increased reliability, as he drives this car on cross country trips. His solution is a GM LSA supercharged 6.2 liter V8 “Connect & Cruise Kit” which also provides an overdrive transmission. It’s not an Oldsmobile engine, but the owner has several other numbers matching 442 W30 cars, and this one is not a “numbers matching car”, and he likes the technology and abilities of the LSA engine and the 4L85E transmission.
